Hey peoples!
Sorry I haven't been a very "good" blogger this week. :P And with the awkward apology put of the way {Aren't apologies always rather awkward? But we've gotta do 'em!} here's some Jesus love & randomness! :)

  • So, I've come up with a two year Bible reading plan. It's not even that  complicated!  {non-complicated things=happy me}The ones with different passages to read everyday just frustrate me. What I did is: I assigned 3 books of the Bible to each month {of this year} minus three, to which I assigned only two books. I'm doing pretty well, I'm even ahead! :)
  • Those conversations you have with God whilst doing the dishes <3
  • This  :)
  • Staying up late talking to God and reading the Bible
  • The fact that God will forgive us of our dirty sins...because His Son has already taken the punishment we deserve!
jesus
those moments... <3

  • But I trust in your unfailing love.       I will rejoice because you have rescued me. ~Psalm13:5
This song...it inspires me :)
God Girl~Jamie Grace

Have a lovely rest of the day! :)

PS: Will you promise me this?  Promise to pick up your Bible before you go to sleep tonight and just...read. Let it wash over you :)

:)

Soo... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMMA!!!
I hope your 13th year of life is absolutely wonderful and you grow more and more in the love of Christ! :)
'K, that's all! :)
Ehh, not really...
Here's just some random thoughts {because this is too short to just hit "publish"}:

  • So, wouldn't it be weird if you had a muscle spasm in you tongue?
  • I almost always spell "tongue" wrong, I rely on spell checker for that!
  • I was awarded...but I've been to lazy to finish the post. I'll try to get it up by Monday!
ANNNNND now for a random song!!!!!
So, have a happy regular day everyone, and to Emma, have a happy birthday. {am I the only one who thinks that makes no sense?}

So, everybody go over there and wish her a happy birthday! :)

On other matters: God's Girl tagged me! I've already received those awards, and did the post {here}. BUT, I will answer her questions :)

  1. What is your favorite wild animal?  Okay, I'm just making this up on the spot, I've never really thought about it before :)  Giraffe
  2. What do you want to be when you grow up? hmm... I guess a wife and mom :)
  3. Do you like scarves or hats better? Hats! Hats most definitely :)
  4. Polka dots or stripes?   Stripes :)
  5. Are you a girly girl or tomboy? Kinda both...but mostly girly girl <3
  6. Guilty pleasure? brownies ;)
  7. Is there anything special you want to see on Gods Girlz? (if so name them) Ohhhh...craft or hair tutorials?
  8. Do you have any siblings? Yep! A big brother and little {okay, not so little} brother!
  9. Favorite Christian band? This is so hard for me to choose! Ummm...Mercy Me and David Crowder Band {they're "breaking up"!! :( } and Building 429! Yes, I know that was three...but, hey, I couldn't choose just one!
  10. Are you homeschooled? Yes, and I love it!
  11. Are you glad these are over? Well...sort of. I need to go make iced tea for dinner...

And now for some random facts!
~On the ride home from the library today, I had the absurd idea of stuffing Nutella up my nose to see how much would fit. Thankfully, I didn't.
~Oh, and you know what? I don't get the whole "i before e" rule...lot's of word have the e before the i...that rule just annoys me for some reason. :P
~Hey, I'm finished with my paper and I turned it in on time!
~So, I am a new author on  Meena's blog *Vanilla Scented*
Annnnd...yeah, I should really get working on the tea...
Have a great {rest of the}day, girlies!

Carry on {with reading this, that is}

  • In love with God
  • smart
  • leader
  • funny
  • loves me
  • likes kids
  • great hair
  • good cook
  • is basically loving
  • manly
  • all around nice
  • respectful
  • sings along with the radio
  • big n' buff

See that? That's the majority of characteristics most Christian girls {...okay me} want in their future mate.
And, though you've all probably heard this before, if we want {to deserve} a husband who is like that, we've got to be working on those qualities {well, with the exception of a few...}in our own lives.
Want a husband who's completely and totally sold out to God?
             Be so, yourself.
Got it?

And, while I'm on the subject, just remember, ladies: You're single right now for a reason. So spend this time growing closer to God. Make Him your love.

 adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the does of the field, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases. ~Song of Solomon 2:7

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. ~ 1 John 4:7-8

Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. ~ Deuteronomy 7:9

For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. ~ Zephaniah 3:17 {*sigh* One of my favorites!}

Hi!

Hi, girls :) So I've been slacking off at blogging. :P But I have a reason! I've been doing tests since today is the last day of the semester. {In fact, I just got done with my school work :P} Ummm...okay, that was kind of a lie. I've actually only been doing tests today and yesterday... the other days, I was just being lazy. :)

Okay, so right now, these two little girls who live on our street are walking by, and one of them has on an adorably cute hat!  Just sayin'  {I'm gonna make myself one!}

Annnnnnddddd, this post was pretty much pointless....
Oh! Look at the pretty bow!

Promotional Friday?

Hey Girls!  So, I'm thinking of doing something like Promotional Friday. Where I promote a different blog, every Friday. ;) Yeah, the title kinda explains itself. :)
the first blog that I will "promote" is the blog
                        The Anonymous Antagonist
[268572_1997599532683_1024329174_32325894_2405833_n.jpg]
Written by the very cool, funny, random, Daniel-or DJ.
On his blog, he writes his thoughts concerning many different subjects, and basically whatever pops into his head :)
Here's what his "About" page says:
Started a couple years ago, The Anonymous Antagonist has always been and always will be foremost: a writer's blog. Bent on writing, filled with writing, injected with writing--the blog will never stop until the author's computer blows up. Hopefully that apocalypse won't come anytime soon. Even with a truckload of writing, the author finds time to talk about his every day life in a segment called Midnight Musings (a random post that occurs late at night). The segment was just started and is "making an impact on my life" he once said to himself.

      This blog is full of humor, or at least it wishes to be full of humor. Using wit and style, the author sometimes decides to do a post in which there is usually no narrative, but only characters that speak to each other. This is for his own practice of the art and for the enjoyment of the reader. Nothing is to be taken too serious unless told otherwise.

So, girls, what are you waiting for??? Head on over there! HERE, I'll put a link so you don't have to move your mouse all the way there ^. ;)
Note: Yes, I do realise that it's Saturday, but I started writing this yesterday, sooooo just pretend it's still Friday! {PLEASE?}

So, what are your thoughts on "Promotional Friday"?
Good Day!

on talking to one's self

I have a confession to make.
I talk to myself.
Yeah, that's right, I talk to myself.

Through my experience, I've learned a few things. Such as: It's not smart to talk to yourself while walking through Walmart. You can earn some weird stares that way...

So, I've decided to share my learned knowledge on this topic by informing you of areas and places that are and are not acceptable for talking to one's self.  :)

Acceptable places to talk to one's self:
~In your bedroom, while alone
~Alone in the kitchen, baking cookies {It makes for a happy baker, therefore, happy cookies}
~While driving a car, if you can drive {I find it funny watching people talk on their blue tooths while in the car, and if you do talk to yourself while driving, everyone will just think you're talking through a blue tooth. ;)}
~While trying on clothes {after all, it is best to get a second opinion, or at least voice your thoughts ;)}
~When writing a blog post :)

Unacceptable places to talk to one's self:
~At Bath and Body Works {or any other perfumy places}Because, whereas you may not like that scent, the lady next to you happens to own two...or ten....bottles of it and is now buying up the lotion of the same kind}
~As stated before, while walking through Walmart
~In another crowded place, like the dinner table with your family {unless you don't mind telling them that you think the spider, who is on the ceiling, should be name Edwardo}
~While raking leaves....but, then again, go ahead and do it {feel free to start singing as well...throw in some random dance moves!} It amuses the neighbors
~While in bed at 3:00am
~While praying. Seriously.
~While staring at your fresh out of the oven cookies

Yep, I advise you follow that, and you won't have people thinking you're weird. Of course, though, if you do decide to start talking and singing while raking the leaves, They'll know it for sure :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This doesn't apply for everyone though. For example, if you have awesome friends and  family who enjoy listening to you talk to yourself {or at least just ignore it :P}.
These tips do also apply if you are into the habbit of talking to inanimate objects {which I may or may not do.....}
I hope these tips have helped you! ;)
                                                     Have a good day, girlies!
Hi girlies! So, as you can see by the title, I  finally got around to making a blog button!
Do you like it?
Though, I'm thinking I made it too small, so I'm going to have to go back and make it bigger. :P Oh well....
I'm just so excited that I actually made a blog button!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, that's really all....
God bless and good ridance!
{Oh, wow, that was mean-Sorry!!! ...I really didn't mean for it to be....I just wanted to see how it looked, 'cause it sounds pretty cool together...}
The thoughts going through my brain {have fun delving through it all!}
I guess this post will just be a random one...I'll type anything that comes into my head :P {Be afraid, be VERY afraid}
  • I {finally!!!} got to watch Tangled today thanks to my awesome Daddy who got it from Redbox :)
  • I love like {the feelings not that strong :)}wearing jackets
  • delving is a fun word, no?
  • I want to learn more about God's sovereignty {whew, that's hard to spell!}
  • Thank goodness for Spell Check :)
  • I like weird lumpy wool yarn :)
  • The Lottery {by Shirley Jackson} is an absolutely terrible story... *shudder*
  • I like happy endings
  • Edgar Allen Poe must've been a little {...or a lot...} wonky
  • You know what I mean? Writing a story about a crazy person who kills an innocent old man?!?!?!
  • But then again, maybe that was just his writing style...maybe he wasn't actually as creepy and wonky as I think he was.
  • I can be rather judgemental of dead authors
  • Sometimes I yell at old dead authors of the Bible {like, for example, PAUL} because I don't like what they wrote
  • Have you ever noticed that Paul had a very distinctive writing style?
  • I kinda wish the keys on this computer were pink
  • They would be so pretty!!!
  • The keys would be pink and the letters/numbers would be a pretty brown :D
  • Talking to Jesus keeps me sane.
  • Have you ever read The Anybodies?
  • It's a really cute story
  • NCIS is tonight :)
  • Thanks soooo much for the comments y'all have written :)
  • The reason I haven't replied to them is that I really don't know what to reply
  • So if you are wondering if I even read it, yes I read each and every one and YESSSS I absolutely LOVE getting them:)
  • I'M GONNA TYPE THIS ALL IN CAPITALS :)
  • alrighty now, all in lowercase!!!!
  • Gustave is an awesome name
  • And it makes me laugh:D
  • Yeahhh....this is getting kinda long, soooo.....
Bye and God Bless!!!
