Hi, girls! So, I'm a little late on this, but I'll just let you know, Jemimah interviewed me over at her blog, Beautiful Blank Pages!!! Click HERE to read it. :)

Okay, now onto my purpose for writing this:
We all know who Samson is, right? The guy in the Old Testament who had really long hair and super strength! And...yeah that's basically all I knew about him until last night. :P I'll just give you a run down of his story.
Before he was born, an Angel of the Lord came to his mother {who was, before then, unable to have kids} and he basically told her she couldn't have any alcohol until the baby was born. He also told her that after he was born, the child was to never have his hair cut. That child was set apart for God.
So, Samson grew up, he killed a lion, and ate honey out of it's guts. {cuz he was cool like that :P}
Eventually, Samson got married. But then, due to other circumstances, she {along with her father} were burned to death. {yeah, I know gruesome!} A while later, he met Delilah. She changed his life. Click HERE and read what happened after that.
Samson fell in love with Delilah, she tricked him into telling her the secret to losing his strength {which was getting a hair cut} She cut his hair, and betrayed him to the Philistines. Samson was then taken prisoner. He was blinded and made a spectacle of. Then, one day, he was called to entertain a {very!} large group of about 3000 people!!!! After performing for them, he asked a servant to position him between two pillars. {Now, these two pillars supported the entire building} From there, he pleaded with God to give him back his strength for just a moment: “Sovereign LORD, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes.” Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, Samson said, “Let me die with the Philistines!” Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived. {Judges 16: 28-30}
Yuppers. Dramatic death, right?
Sooo, we can learn a few things from Mr. Samson there:
1. Fall in love with the right person.
2. When your boyfriend starts saying things like "You don't love me, because you won't " get out of that relationship quick
3.Don't give up what God has called you to do all to be with some guy {or, in Samson's case, some girl}
4. God's got a plan for us. {We've just got to be careful to stay with Him and talk with Him in order to know what that plan is} :)
If you want to read Samson's story in it's entirety, read Judges 13-16 {It's really interesting, I advise you to read it!}
Have a good day, girlies!

The thoughts going through my brain {have fun delving through it all!}
I guess this post will just be a random one...I'll type anything that comes into my head :P {Be afraid, be VERY afraid}
- I {finally!!!} got to watch Tangled today thanks to my awesome Daddy who got it from Redbox :)
- I
lovelike {the feelings not that strong :)}wearing jackets - delving is a fun word, no?
- I want to learn more about God's sovereignty {whew, that's hard to spell!}
- Thank goodness for Spell Check :)
- I like weird lumpy wool yarn :)
- The Lottery {by Shirley Jackson} is an absolutely terrible story... *shudder*
- I like happy endings
- Edgar Allen Poe must've been a little {...or a lot...} wonky
- You know what I mean? Writing a story about a crazy person who kills an innocent old man?!?!?!
- But then again, maybe that was just his writing style...maybe he wasn't actually as creepy and wonky as I think he was.
- I can be rather judgemental of dead authors
- Sometimes I yell at old dead authors of the Bible {like, for example, PAUL} because I don't like what they wrote
- Have you ever noticed that Paul had a very distinctive writing style?
- I kinda wish the keys on this computer were pink
- They would be so pretty!!!
- The keys would be pink and the letters/numbers would be a pretty brown :D
- Talking to Jesus keeps me sane.
- Have you ever read The Anybodies?
- It's a really cute story
- NCIS is tonight :)
- Thanks soooo much for the comments y'all have written :)
- The reason I haven't replied to them is that I really don't know what to reply
- So if you are wondering if I even read it, yes I read each and every one and YESSSS I absolutely LOVE getting them:)
- I'M GONNA TYPE THIS ALL IN CAPITALS :)
- alrighty now, all in lowercase!!!!
- Gustave is an awesome name
- And it makes me laugh:D
- Yeahhh....this is getting kinda long, soooo.....

My Transformation Story {sounds so dramatic!}
Heya Girlies! No this post isn't about how I turned from an alien princess to a human or any thing, it's the story of how I became an actual Christ Follower. :)
I hope you can dredge through this post without pictures, as I couldn't find any that fit :)
my...{true!}story!
my...{true!}story!
At the ripe ol' age of four and a half, I asked Jesus to forgive me for my sins and to come into my heart. The next day when I went to preschool, my mom let me wear a tiara :) because, as she said, I was now a princess. :) I had fun explaining to every one in my class and later that night at church that "I am princess!" I was so very proud of my new title.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~But, after a week or two, I just sort of got over it and continued living my life the way I wanted to. I wasn't a super bad little girl, but I still had my moments. I would talk back to my parents (and in return get paddled ;); steal candy from our candy tin a home and from my own teacher{I used to go to a private Christian school}!!! But also, I would lie. I'd get my reading assignment for that night and I was supposed to read it then have my mom sign the little slip of paper to say that I read it. But I didn't read it. I would just tell my mom that I had read it so she would sign it.
Getting "saved" sooo did not change me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I lived like that up until a couple years ago when I discovered a few blogs by Christian girls. I had never heard of people actually living their life for Jesus! I had never really considered being able to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I mean, sure, I prayed sometimes. Then one day something just snapped inside of me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I started to pray. At first, I didn't know what to pray about, so I just told God about my day, about what I had been learning from people like Miss Raquel and Miss Lucia (sorry, I don't have a link to her blog anymore). As I grew older, I also grew in faith :). I realized Jesus wasn't just that barefooted dude wearing a dress on the flannel graph board; He was my Saviour, my Lord and my Friend. :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've grown so much in Jesus {as well as height!} since that day I started praying {and reading the Bible, I do that too! :)}. I've learned from my parents and grandparents, who, even though I hadn't noticed before, really are passionate about living their lives for their Lord. I really am praying that you girls might learn more about Jesus and be able to grow in Him through this blog. :)
