Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi, everyone! Well, I'm actually writing this on Wednesday, because I'm sure
I'll be super busy tomorrow with dinner preparations {which I find much more fun and yummier than the actual meal! :)} as well as hangin' with the fam. ;)

So, today is Thanksgiving {at least here in the US...and, at least while you're reading this it is}. :)
I am so thankful for soooo many things :)

I'll list.... oh, only five of those things :)
Well, to start out, I'm thankful for loving parents who've raised me, a nice warm house, food, and wonderful family. ...But I won't count those  ;)

1. I'm thankful for my God. {hehe, y'all just knew this one was coming ;)} I'm so thankful that He's here every day, always there to listen, heal, and reprove me. :)
2. I'm thankful for the religious freedoms I have in this wonderful country I live in! I know that in many other countries, people are killed if they are simply found with a page of the Bible, or if they even talk about God. :( But, I am able to go to church and to pray {to the one and only God}!
3. I know this seems kind of odd, but I also am thankful for my little cousin. :) She's almost 5 mo. old, and she brings me so much happiness! :)
4. Although I do complain a lot {and am soon after ashamed} about it, I'm thankful for my schooling :) I've been able to get a much better education than many others even in the US, because of my homeschool education :)
5. And last, but not least, I'm thankful for you followers :) Haha, I know that sounds so cheesy, but I truly am thankful for you guys!

Just, well, sort of random stuff....

Hey Girls, I'm back!!! At first, I had decided to stop blogging, but then when I started my "Goodbye" post, I just couldn't make myself post it. Well, that, and the fact that I HAVE TWO NEW FOLLOWERS!!!! (Thanks so much, Annie Lauren and Rebekah Brielle!!!)

So, what do you think of the new Blogger look? To tell you the truth,* I don't really like it. But, I'm going to try it for a while to see if I warm up to it. :)

Do you ever have trouble reading your Bible? I do. Not really with getting myself to read it, but instead when I'm reading it. I can never just focus on one specific book of the Bible...{well, I guess it's not that much of a problem :P} Like for example last night, I had asked Jesus who He wanted me to show His love to this week. I immediately thought of my family; they're all hurting in some way, and I know they just want some lovin'. :)

 So I remembered this one passage in John where Jesus was surrounded by his disciples and some of His closest followers, and Mary (Jesus's mother) and one of His brothers came near. Jesus's friends said something along the lines of, "Jesus, your family is here." And Jesus replied with something close to, "You're my family." 

Instead of finding that I got sucked into different passages of Mark (awesome books by the way :). I never found that passage. (But, I will tonight,, and I'll post  it tomorrow. But if any of you know it, will you pretty please post it?:)

So, what are ya'll (I'm not really from the South, I just like using that word at every possible time :) reading in the Bible? What've you learned about Jesus thus far {I like saying that too!}in your life? I really do want to know....I also want comments :) Tell me if you want me to do something different on here :)
