In memory of Jubilee Duggar

I don't know if you all heard, but the Michelle Duggar has miscarried her 20th child. :(
It was about 4 or so months. In memory of Jubilee Shalom Dugger {isn't that the sweetest name?}, they took pictures of the sweet stillborn little baby. :)

Doesn't that show how precious these little ones are? You can see her itty bitty little fingers! So sweet!

Okay, this is going to be a quick post...
Did any of you see NCIS tonight?????
Okay, so, the woman who plays Missie Lahaye in Love's Long Journey, Love's Abiding Joy, and also, I think, Love's Unending Legacy... Erin Cottrell.

Well.....She was in NCIS tonight as a {very} pregnant Marine. And she did very well.
                                                 That is all. :)

Recipe Find

Okay, so the other day I was in the mood for some chocolate chip cookies. But it was late, and when I make cookies, I usually take hours. Sooo...I almost gave up my hope for the yummy goodness.
                                  ...Until I remembered THIS recipe.   
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mug Cake


As the name suggests, it's more cake-like than cookie-ish. But I'm fine with that :)
The recipe is pretty versatile, I think, so you can add other ingredients like vanilla extract, cocoa powder, cinnamon, or peanut butter. :)
It's really quick, and while it's not the best cake in the world, it'll satisfy your sweet tooth. :)
Tips: 

• Make sure the butter is really soft, or else you won't be able to mix it well.
• Also make sure you mix the butter in evenly, and make sure there isn't much near the top.  I didn't, and it ended up with a small pool of butter on top. :P
• You should probably add at least a pinch of salt to it, it somehow works with the flour to make it turn out better, and it even improves the taste of the chocolate! :)
• If you want to add cocoa powder, I would advise measuring the flour into a separate bowl, taking out a tablespoon or so of flour, and adding in a tablespoon {or the same amount as you took out of the flour} of cocoa powder. Then mix it up and add it to the rest! :)
• I would also advise that you add vanilla extractb. 'Cause vanilla makes everything better, right?
• If you want to make peppermint flavor, just add a splash of peppermint extract instead of vanilla. {Though make sure it says Peppermint and not just Mint or Spearmint.}
• Oh, and also, this makes a pretty big peice of cake, it'll fill up a medium sized mug. So, you might want to share it with someone :)

You know that friend from THIS post? Well, the relationship with her mom is now...okay...but she's, like, really depressed now, I'm thinking because of something that happened with her{now ex} boyfriend. :( 

She is really upset, and her parents are just adding insult to injury from what I can tell. :P

So, could you just..pray for her? Please?

abortion?

So, this is a rather controversial subject. Many people are either dead set against it or for it. Some don't care. And some don't even have an opinion on it, they don't think of it.
The subject to which I am referring is abortion.  

I believe that a child becomes a child the moment it is conceived, and by taking this child's life, whether less than three months or not, the sweet little baby is murdered. Think about it. He/She might have grown up to cure cancer or AIDS or even the common cold! But that dear sweet child was never given a chance.
In the video right below, 180, the man likens abortion to what happened during the Holocaust. And he's right. Just like Hitler did, many people are choosing to just "get rid of" their "problem."

whatever you do

Okay, so, I'm kind of late with this, but here is today's and tomorrow's verse:
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 
-Collosians 3:17
So have you noticed that this verse, and the last two, have all had the phrase 'whatever you do'?
Now I don't know if I really need to clarify on this or not, but I will. :)

When it says 'whatever you do' that really does mean, 'whatever you do.' When you're washing dishes? Do it to the glory of God, or  'in the name the Lord Jesus'. Okay, now you're probably thinking, "How on earth am I supposed to wash dishes to the glory of God? What am I supposed to do, sing gospel songs?" Well, I mean, you could sing gospel songs whilst scrubbing away...but that's not my point. My point is, do it in a way that would glorify the Lord. Let's say there's a National Dish Washing Competition. With every dish you wash, you want it to be known that you serve the Lord, you are God's daughter. And this doesn't just apply to washing the dishes. When you're doing math? Do it to glorify the Lord, and as Collosians 3:23 says, 'work at it with all your heart.' When you're talking to your friend, or your little brother, or anybody, do it all 'in the name of the Lord Jesus!'

Okay, I know I just posted this, but it goes so well with this post!

Dec. Challenge

Hi everyone!!!
So...today is December 1st.


CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ?!?!?!??!?!?!?!
It sort of feels like it should still be August, you know?

Anyway,  remember what I gave you a hint about yesterday?  And do you remember the October Challenge?
Yeah...it didn't go over welll...I mean, I had good intentions but..it just went down the drain...
But, I have a proposition for you!
The DECEMBER Challenge!!!!
So, before I tell you what exactly it is, let me give you a little back story.

BACK STORY:  ;)
So, I've been going to church, since I was a week old. I've been going to Sunday School since I as about 2. I've been a Christian since I was 4. And I've been an actual Christ follower since a couple years ago.
But you know what? I can only remember about 20, maybe 25, verses that I've been memorizing throughout my life. And, yes, that's bad. It's bad, since I've had the material {a Bible} around me just about all my life to be memorizing verses. It's bad, since I've been asking God why I hardly ever  know what to do when something hard happens. It's bad because just two days ago, I asked God to make me into someone that girls would look up to. Someone worthy of being His daughter. Yet I didn't know what to do to make that happen. {not that I can do that on my own, girlies. It's gonna be hard, but the only way it'll happen is if I let God. You know the phrase, Let Go. Let God.?}

So, as y'all have probably gathered by now, my December Challenge is to memorize more Bible verses. 'Cause you know? I haven't memorized one since August. :P
I'm going to choose one Bible verse a day, {probably the night before, though} and I will memorize it.
I think I'll post the Bible verse that I'm working on every day. Do y'all want to join me? If you do, just leave a so I can pray for you in this. :)
So, the first Bible verse is:
1 John 3:16-
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our life for our brothers and sisters.

Look familiar? I just put it on the sidebar yesterday.... or the day before. {I have a bad memory when it comes to details like that!} You can tell what the next verses are going to be too, by just looking below that. :)

Okay, so, does that sound good? Now, could y'all pray for me in doing this? Memorizing things comes kinda hard to me!
